we’ve started to upload the quran files that are on the site that are in parts in whole format, so you no longer have to download 10 files for any particular sura. may Allah reward brother bandar from mp3quran.net for combining the files for sheikh nabil al rifa3i, and to my brother from australia for sending me many sets in combined format, of which so far only sudais and shuraim, abdulbari ath-thubaity, and abdulmuhsin al qasim have been uploaded.

back to doing updates again after a break for the past month. uploaded sheikh abdulbaset abdulsamad warsh recitation (may Allah reward my dear brother who sent it to me). check out the new album art in that set as well

i have a huge list of updates to do that the brother who sends me many of these recitations (including this warsh one) sent me, and i am currently going down that list and insha’Allah will update here as new stuff gets added to the site.

whether you fasted today or not, eid mubarak to all of you! may Allah accept all our good deeds and grant us the gift of seeing many future ramadans filled with good accepted deeds - ameen!

a small gift to celebrate eid - i’ve uploaded some high quality recitations from one of my favorite qaris - sheikh mahir al-muaiqly! these were obtained off of his official website before it went down sometime in ramadan, then converted into mp3. the quality is amazing! and, as always, you can always hear him the madinah 1426 and 1427 sets (my favorite is surat yunus in the 1426 madinah set, he recites the majority of the sura starting from a little before the 3 minute mark). also, i’ve uploaded a little over 90 suras for sheikh muhammad al-luhaidan as well.

on the subject of ramadan, if anyone obtains complete high quality audio for the 1428 taraweeh sets [especially Makkah, but also Madinah], please let me know! (the contact email address on the “about” page of quranicaudio.com).

*update* - added the first part of Surat Ibrahim to the Thubaity set, thus completing it. may Allah reward the brother who pointed out that the first part of the sura in the Salah Budair set is read by Thubaity.
