There’s a mistake in your translation. In the Saheeh International translation of 2:227, it translates “Inna Allaha sami3un 3aleem” as “Allah is all-hearing and ALL-MERCIFUL.” Al-3aleem is the all-knowing, I think they mis-translated it.

I got onto the http://www.quran.com site to read the quran and i heard a recitation on the website that i would like to know more about. can someone help me? it is so very beautiful and if i can get the name of the person who recitates, i would be very happy.

questino related to the recitations, are there any copy rights surrounding downloading any of the recitations? I am a big fan of Abdul Rashid Sofi and plan to download his recitations but am i breaking any law (or rightful shari’a practice) downloading it without his approval? pls advise.
Bro i was wondering if there is any way you can post full quran sets of some of the renowned recitors. Such as Sheikh Maher and Sheikh basfar. Can you post them on rapidshare of megaupload or some website of that sort. JazakAllah khair..

I just wanted notify you of an incomplete sura for the qari Khalid Al-Qahtani. Surat Al-Anfal. It skips at Aayat (19) . Jazakum Allah Khair This has really benefited me a lot. Thank you
