a handful of changes to quranicaudio

salam 3alaikum,
just pushed an update to quranicaudio.com… you won’t see much that’s different, except for:

  • makkah and madinah recitations moved into a haramain taraweeh section on the home page rather than being grouped under all the other recitations.
  • the download page now links directly to the mp3s rather than the way it was before.
  • ogg files are only on the download server, they’ve been removed from the listing page.

in addition, many non-visible changes have been made to make it easier to make modifications in the future insha’Allah. hopefully, the main page and the individual qari pages should have seen a speed boost as well.

i know there were some issues while i was posting, (about 30 minutes before this post), but al7amdulillah everything seems to be in good working order now. if you run into any issues, please send an email.

    Assalamu alaykum , just so you know - Hamad Sinan’s Fatiha aint working - it plays the first 8 seconds only -and thats as saf as the istiada and basmalah.

    @Sr - try again - it works fine for me, just try to redownload it insha’Allah and it should work (probably was an incomplete download).
